Stage Play
Me and my classmates recently watched a stage play today! We rode a baby bus to go to the theatre at the college my older cousin goes to (baby bus is basically a bus, but smaller than an average normal bus, this is what it looks like):
(There are many different colorful designed baby buses around here in the Philippines and I ride one everyday)Anyway, back to the topic! We rode a baby bus to go to the theatre far away from my home, not that much students in my classroom joined (there were only 13 of us there over 29 students in my class)
But luuuckily,
my friend Ash was there with me so everything was far from boring XD
when we finally reached the place, me and Ash first bought "Taho" (a Filipino street food)
Here is what Taho looks like since I forgot to take a photo of it ππ
The Taho was cheap! 20 pesos for the average size, 30 pesos for the large size, ofcourse I chosed the large one. XD
Unfortunatelyyyy, any food or drink inside the theatre was strictly not allowed and because of that I had to speed-run myself and eat the Taho as fast as I could before entering the theatre-
There were MANY students too all from different schools that it actually kind of scared me- even though my school also had like, many students as well from the main campus, but at the Science, Technology and Engineering (STE) campus part (which is where I am) had only a few, so it blew my mind away seeing SO many students because I'm not used to it-
Either way, it was still fun goofing around with Ash, I took a few pics while waiting to enter:
plus, the WHOLE ass university is FILLED with nature, it was beautiful that I wished I took more pictures but I couldn't because I was having a hard time doing so since i had Taho on my hands π (there was bamboo as well)
And THEY EVEN HAD A BIG FIELD, DEFINITELY MADE FOR SPORTS, WOOOOOOOOOOOW-
One of the teachers also gave us tickets!
Me and ash holding our tickets :DD
We had to take a pic of it just in case if we lose it somehow because jesus christ it's SO easy to lose stuff these days-
After a few moments of waiting, me and my classmates finally got in the theatre!
(A pic of the stage before the play started!)
Sooooo many students inside there from MAAANY schools,
whenever the host calls a school's name, the students of that mentioned school would scream SO loud that it hurt my ears at first-
The host also told everyone not to use any phones like taking a picture or recording if the stage play starts, aaaand they also did a ticket raffle of whoever student gets free money! Uuuunfortuenately me and Ash didn't win but we were having fun instead LMFAO
The stage play we watched was basically about a romantic story between a duke named Florante and a princess named Laura, hence the title of the story
itself being
"Florante at Laura"
("at" is a Filipino word meaning "and" in English.)
which was made by the famous Filipino poet named
The play was amazing, especially the acting of the actors, they made the story very comedic and light-hearted! There were also romantic scenes that made the crowd crazily squeal, Ash tried her best not to scream. And for me, I ended up having a very suprised face- XD
What made Ash have a hard time to watch though is the fact that she has astigmatism and there were lights everywhere around the stage, she had a hard time understanding the scenes because of that.
In the end though, both me and Ash enjoyed it! After the play, we even had a pic with one of the actors!! And a pic with our Filipino language subject teacher!!
We used the same baby bus we rode on earlier back to our homes! Supposedly was planning to go to Ash's house but that was discontinued since Ash was going somewhere with her family today
It was fun! Can't wait for next years stage play!!
